A Mobile Physical Therapy Service for Athletes Across the Lifespan
Drew Moore earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Oregon State University – Cascades after completing his undergraduate studies at Central Washington University. With a longstanding interest in sports, biomechanics, and human performance, Drew was drawn to physical therapy as a way to study movement in depth while helping people return to the activities that are meaningful in their lives. During PT school he continued his interest in biomechanics and movement science and co-authored the published research article Plantar Pressure in Recreational Athletes Running in Maximal and Traditional Shoes. His background in biomechanics continues to influence how he evaluates movement and develops individualized treatment strategies for his patients. Drew believes the most important part of physical therapy is the relationship between clinician and patient. Recovery is not simply about completing exercises it is about building a strong therapeutic alliance through trust, communication and helping people feel confident moving their bodies again. With a background in broadcast journalism, Drew developed strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people from all different walks of life. This allows him to create a safe environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their recovery. His approach focuses on helping patients better understand their bodies and their pain, and developing the strength and resilience necessary to return to your activities with confidence. Drew enjoys working with athletes across the lifespan, from youth athletes to active adults and weekend warriors. His main goal is to help people continue participating in the sports and activities that bring meaning and enjoyment to their lives. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their husky-malamute mix, Nina, while continuing to explore interests in marathon running, splitboarding, team sports, film, photography, art, and history. Move with confidence.
